Finally I managed to transfer all my photos. It was a long time coming :) I wanted to do another small haul post since I got so much great stuff from my Tallinn trip!
White peplum top from River Island, 60$
They have run out of the blue skirt in Zara but there’s a pink one with the same shape and fabric here!
Reserved still has those joggers. :)
I was SO meant to post this last week but somehow time just flew by and I forgot. But here it is: very simple recap of Flow Festival! It’s a great summer festival that often features both mainstream and underground artists – in fact, I go there pretty much every summer.
One of the best things about Flow is that you can hop on the metro near my house and take it to the festival area in 20 minutes…no need to sleep in a crummy tent!
I hope I can continue to go every summer – so far I have not been disappointed. And the price range is great: usually for 80 euros you can see 3-4 great artists (plus some you didn’t even know you wanted to see!).
I wanted to share more photos from my trip to Tallinn. Here are some shots of the gorgeous hotel as well as the Old Town and the food we enjoyed during our stay.
This week I took a cruise to Tallinn with my boyfriend’s mom who was kind enough to take me there :) I’ve been to Tallinn many times but it still hasn’t lost its charm – especially the Old Town, which is as beautiful as ever. Our hotel was right in the middle of the Old Town so we had all the amazing restaurants and little boutiques nearby.
Our first night we went to a Russian restaurant Troika, which has great traditional Russian foods (the salmon I would recommend to everyone; the restaurant is on the edge of the town square in Old Town). Our hotel breakfast was in a traditional Estonian restaurant that was next to our hotel (St. Petersbourg).
Most of my shopping was done in Viru Keskus, which is a huge mall with tons of fashionable (and cheap) stores. I found some great items from the summer sales.
I will soon be posting more photos from the cruise as well as a haul post so stay tuned!
After I did the post about Sookie’s style, I wanted to do another fandom style post but this time with the BtVS ladies. I love 90s fashion and I think a lot of the outfits in BtVS are really cute. Nonetheless, I felt I needed to narrow my focus so I chose the college years (starting from season 4 of BtVS) where Buffy and Willow’s style evolved and matured from the first seasons.
Both Buffy and Willow wore a lot of skirts in college, Willow favoring maxis while Buffy opted mostly for ankle length and midi skirts. The Slayer still liked to wear leather and Willow hadn’t ditched her signature quirky outfits either – they simply matured and made them more college appropriate. Both seemed to also like floral patterns and bright colors, which I personally love :)
I also thought I’d add here a traditional Buffy outfit, which I’m fully intending to do for Halloween some year!
