Versatile Blogger Award

I was nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award by my lovely friend Vanessa who blogs at My Retrospectacles about her adventures in Asia and shares her super cute drawings. Thank you sweetheart for nominating me!!

The rules for being nominated:

  1. Post the award on your blog
  2. Thank the person who nominated you
  3. Share seven facts about yourself
  4. Nominate 15 blogs
  5. List the nominees and let them know

7 Facts About Me:

  1. I’m going to graduate with an MA in English philology in a year and I’m completely freaking out. Like, how do you even adult?
  2. I’ve now fully embraced being a crazy cat lady. I’ve had my Merlin for a bit over a year and now I just want all the cats.
  3. I’m currently reading six different books because, for some reason, lately I just keep starting new books and not finishing the previous ones. Christmas break – I promise I’ll finish everything then.
  4. I constantly hate my hair. When it’s longer, I want it shorter. When it’s short, I want it long. Really, I guess, I just want thicker hair and I would like it, but since it’s thin, I hate it all the time.
  5. I have a really really really bad habit of biting my nails. I should stop. It’s a stress reaction and I’m stressed out constantly. Seriously. It never stops.
  6. I have an obsession with traveling. I keep buying trips everywhere. Not good for the wallet, but definitely good for the soul.
  7. I don’t understand Snapchat. Bad blogger.

I nominate:

Sara from Sincerely, Sara

Kristin from My Life as a Teacup

Rosa from Gingerbread Sagas

Alice from The Geeky Burrow

and Fiona from North East Nerd

And yes, I do realize this is only five, not 15. But I couldn’t come up with more right off the top of my head (although I’m sure if I started going through my Bloglovin’ I could find a million amazing blogs!).

  • Thanks so much for nominating me, Laura! You really made my week. Unfortunately it’s a super busy time of the year for me and I won’t be able to write a post sometimes soon. But, if you want to read some randoms things about me, here is a blog post I wrote for a similar award this Summer :)

  • Thank you so much for the nomination! I am sure you will do just fine at all that adult stuff, when you get to that, and if not, you can just become a traveling cat lady forever. That’s totally acceptable, and I’d let you borrow my couch even. And I really don’t understand Snapchat either – what even is the point?

  • Congratulations on your award hun! Haha I have been officially an adult for four months, and I am freaking out, I’m not ready for bills, 9-5 jobs, credit checks plus more! And oh my, 6 books?! I can barely keep up with one!

    Great post :)

Check out my blog <3 |

Congratulations on the award and as far as number one on your list, that was exactly how I felt my last year of college! But you will figure it out, I am sure of it!

    • Thank you and thank you :D I guess since people do it all the time, I’ll manage the adjustment as well :P Just feels like a lot to handle at this point.

  • OMG thanks for nominating me! :)
I’m currently reading 4 books and it’s getting out of hand! Too many books for my brain to handle! Although lately I haven’t had time to read them because of NaNoWriMo.

    • My pleasure, I love your blog! ^^
I’m glad someone else has the same problem…I actually feel really guilty about not just sticking with one book at a time. I guess my reading is affected too much by my mood. Good luck on NaNoWriMo, I really liked the sneak peek you showed on your blog earlier :)
